Solar generation in the first 11 months of 2024 rose by over 26%, while the new solar generation capacity added in November was the second highest monthly total per month. Energy information management (RRP).

A new solar capacity should deliver a lot more electricity than the natural gas or nuclear power plants that came online in 2024. In November alone, 72 new “units” of benefit standards (ie 1 MW) were put into operation, while 613 units came online. Their combined capacity was almost twice as high as in the same period in 2023 (13,829 MW).
