The property was broken on Wednesday in the road project for heart enclosure plan (hip), which will transform the historical corridor into a modern community center in downtown Loveland. The overhaul includes the five-block route of the Fourth Street between Jefferson and Garfield Avenue, reports Loveland Reporter Herald. In the next 20 months, the contractor crews will replace 3,500 linear foot of the aging infrastructure under the surface and then improve the road and the sidewalks over it. Also in the plans is a road randscape with pedestrian lighting, new landscape design, decorative fence, public art and much more.
