World Congress for Greening of Buildings 2026 Berlin: Early bird price, call for papers and posters now open

Greenroofs.com is once again a media partner of the World Congress on Greening Buildings 2026 and we are pleased to share the news with you. The organizer BuGG (German Association for Green Buildings) will take place in Berlin from June 9th to 11th, 2026 and has announced early bird registration rates as well as calls for proposals for lectures and posters.

World Congress on Greening Buildings 2026

The World Congress on Building Greening 2026 in Berlin is a three-day event on all aspects of green buildings (roof, facade and interior greening) with associated topics such as urban climate, rainwater management, sustainability, the city of the future and much more.

Look forward to many interesting and well-known speakers such as Prof. Mun Summ Wong, co-founder of Singapore-based WOHA; Prof. Werner Sobek, founder of the Werner Sobek company; Dr. Patrick Blanc (French botanist and inventor of the vertical garden, Green wall; Prof. Manfred Köhler, founder of the Green Roof Research Center at Neubrandenburg University of Applied Sciences, co-founder of the World Green Infrastructure Network (WGIN) and many more.

Call for poster submissions: You can now also apply to submit a scientific (non-advertising) contribution to the poster exhibition at the World Congress on Greening of Buildings 2026. In addition to scientific topics, lectures on specific strategies for greening buildings and rainwater management are also welcome. Posters can be submitted in German or English.
