The No. 1 rank The women's basketball team defeated Carnegie Mellon University with 91-62 on Friday and brought his season record to 15: 0.
The NYU came out in the game with a lead of 16-2 in just under four minutes.
The violets never lost their early swing and closed with a 29-point victory to keep their perfect record this season.
After Junior Caroline Peper had a career high of 24 points in the game against Emory University last week, he continued to achieve great and broke her personal record again and scored 27 points against the Tartans. Sophomore Brooke Batchelor added 11 points and eight rebounds.
The violets continued on Sunday with a dominant victory against the Case Western Reserve University. They added their unbeaten 16-0 record with a 107:31 win.
The doctoral student Natalie Bruns, Senior Belle Pellecchia, Zahra Alexander in the first year and Batchelor scored all double -digit digits. Bruns was the highest scorer of the game with 18 points.
The No. 6-rank The men's basketball team defeated Carnegie Mellon on Friday in a tight matchup and defeated the Tartans with 96-90.
Jack Stone, a four -year team member at Carnegie Mellon before he came to NYU's graduate school, led the violets with a high season of 27 points.
Double student Tristian, like a double double with 24 points and 13 rebounds, while Senior Zay Freeney and Doctoral Brock Susko also achieved in double-digit numbers for the Violets.
Although the entire game was neck and tasting, the violets secured a strong finish in the fourth quarter, with the second free throws of Hampton Sanders and the seven-point run of Stone's seven-point run to secure the victory.
The men's basketball team ended the weekend with a win against CWRU on Sunday afternoon. The violets improved their record with an 80-73 victory to 15: 1.
Susko led the rating for NYU with 19 points.
The men and women's basketball teams will return to the campaign on Friday, January 31 and travel to Illinois to face the University of Chicago.
fencing
The fence teams for men and women performed strong performances at home on the senior citizens' day. Both published victories against Hunter College on Friday. The men's team swept Hunter with 27-0, and Sabre Fencers Junior Jerry Pan, Ansh Ghayalod and Junior Faaris Hussain won their matchups.
The women followed exactly and let a competition for a final victory of 26-1. The seniors Claudia Meyer and Renee Wu went 3-0 in film, while the seniors Hannah Hoverman and Sharon Ni did the same.
Both teams will return to the campaign on Saturday, February 1, in Cambridge, MA, against Harvard University.
Swim & dive
The No. 5 rank Women's team and No. 2 rank The men's team defeated Division II West Chester University 179-64 and 131-112 on Saturday to end its dual meet season. The record of women is 5-1 and the men are unbeaten, 8: 0.
Junior Kaley Mcintyre won each of her three events, including 50 yard freestyle, 100 yard freestyle and 400 yard freestyle. Maksym Nechydyuk in the first year won the 200 yard freestyle and the 100-yard breast.
Senior Issara Schmidt and Sophomore Maya Williams placed first and second place in the 1-meter and 3-meter events. Senior William Hopkins finished second in the 3-meter dive.
The violets will drive again on February 12th to 15th at the UAA championships in Atlanta, GA.
Track & Field
The athletics teams for men and women came to Dr. Sander Scorcher, who was organized by Columbia University.
Sophomore Julian Aske set a NCAA Division III management time of 1: 50.85, which was the seventh best time of the day in the 800 m run of the men.
senior Ryan Tobin Also set a NCAA Division III management time for this season and the personal best in the 3,000 m run, which records a time of 8: 10.97. He ended with a seventh place.
Both Aske and Tobin set the NYU program records in their events.
A violet record was also set up by Gianna Dawson in the first year in the 800 m run of women. She took fourth place in the race and ended with the eight best time of the NCAA this season.
Junior Janie Cooper took ninth place in the 3,000 -M run of women with a personal best of 9: 40.17. This was the second fastest time in the NCAA Division III this season.
Other members of athletics teams for men and women went to Philadelphia, PA on Friday, for the invitation of the Widen winter evening.
Doctoral student Oliver Fideler took the seventh long jump of the men with a distance of 6.34 m. Junior Dasha Jackson, with a time of 9.60, eighth place in the 60 -m hurdles of women.
Verfers for the men's athletics team competed on the second day of Widener Winter evening invitation on Saturday, January 25th.
Junior Daniel Lee ended with a personal record of 12.99 m, which earned him 17th place.
Members of the men's and women teams will return to the campaign next Friday, January 31 and compete at the scarlet knight opened by Rutgers University.
volleyball
The No. 2-ranking volleyball team for men Swept Hunter College to start his 2025 season at home.
The violets defeated the Hawks in every set with scores of 25-17, 25-12 and 25-22, and in the second year Emerson Evans led the team with nine kills.
The men's volleyball team continued on Saturday in the Paulson Center with two games. The violets competed against New Jersey City University and Arcadia University.
The team is unbeaten, wins both games and increases its record to 6: 0.
In their first game, the violets defeated the NJCU in straight sets with 25-14, 25-17 and 25-22. Evans led the team with 12 kills and six DIGS. Sophomore Devyn Nguyen had 21 assists and steered the crime to a percentage of 0.472 teams.
The first victory of the day on Saturday was the 425th victory of head coach José Piña with the violets.
The second game against Arcadia also ended with a win and won in the Straight Sets 25-17, 25-20 and 25-16. Evans led with 13 kills and the seniors Ry Kagan and Lucas Osiecki led the blocking with three each.
The violets return to the Paulson Center on Wednesday to face the baruch college.
Struggle
The wrestling team of No. 20 lost to the College of New Jersey on Saturday in Ewing, New Jersey.
With a score of 7-35, the record of the violets in dual meetings fell 11: 5, with the NYU only winning two of the 10 matchups of the day.
Three times all-American senior Cooper Pontelandolfo Defeated JJ Giordano with £ 157 and ended with a 16-2 victory.
The violets will compete against the Stevens Institute of Technology on Friday, January 31, in Hoboken, NJ, against the Stevens Institute of Technology No. 19.
