Whit Davis Lumber Plus, which is to be taken over by Spahn-Rose-Acquires-Whit-Davis-Rumber in Iowa

The supplier of wood and building materials, Whit Davis Lumber Plus from Jacksonville, has approved a takeover of Spahn & Rose Lumber Co. from Dubuque, Iowa.

The deal is expected to be completed on June 20, as the companies announced in a press release on Wednesday. The locations of Jacksonville, Cabot and Greenbrier by Whit Davis Lumber Plus will be reopened on June 23. You will continue to operate under the name Whit Davis and keep local management.

The financial conditions of the transaction were not announced.

The wooden conductor based in Jacksonville was founded in 1953.

Whit Davis Lumber Plus will join a list of five other wood and building material suppliers that Spahn & Rose has bought in recent years. It currently operates 28 locations in Iowa, IllinoisWisconsin, Georgia and Alabama.

The purchase of Whit Davis will expand Spahn & RoseThe presence in the southeast.

In addition to wood, Spahn & Rose sells windows, doors, decks, cupboards, roof, drywall and other building materials.
