Official warning messages are now given drivers who do not adhere to rules for a new business, although the fines are only given in March.
The BUSOR on Mill Road Bridge in Cambridge prohibits most motor vehicles with the exception of buses, the registered vehicles of emergency services, taxis and blue Badge.
The restrictions have been available since December, but the Cambridgeshire County Council had given drivers a longer period of time to get used to the layout.
However, civil servants said that the announcements would now be issued to those who hit the rules, but they have not yet fined any fines.
The council started its “gradual approach to the bustor restriction” before Christmas, but appeared from Monday the warnings.
Neil Shailer, deputy chairman of the Council's Highways Committee, said: “We are now starting the next level in which the drivers of vehicles that are not freed are they have to register.
“We have already contacted more than 360 local nurses about exceptions to vehicles from nursing hearings who carry out home visits to the Mill Road Region.”
