University Park, PA. – Commercial landscape designers or the knowledge involved in the Arbor culture can help you build a profitable company by participating in a workshop to expand Penn State in November.
The workshop “estimate and bid for the landscape installation” will take place on Tuesday, November 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the York County Office by Penn State Extension, 2401 Pleasant Valley Road, York.
This course is intended for professional landscape design, estimates of the landscape installation, small and large landscape shops, tree nurses, lawn grass managers and people who consider a landscape building business. The two -day intensive workshop is intended to help the participants understand how they can determine the overhead to operate a landscape design business and create a profitable offer. The participants can ask questions and discuss the offer with other contractors.
The trainers will cover practical strategies for estimating, budgeting and pricing of landscape jobs in order to improve profitability and business success. Among other things, the participants learn about:
- Project requirements and clearer define the scope.
- Effective cash flow management.
- Use of digital tools and apps for efficient recording.
- The difference between brand and profit.
- Strategies for creative pricing and increasing prices without losing customers.
- Best practices for communication and contract negotiations.
- Real knowledge through a case study and practical applications.
The organizers found that the space is limited, so astipement is required. The registration period ends at 11:45 p.m., November 15th. The workshop has a registration fee of $ 50. Pennsylvania Certified Gärtner Credits are available to the participants.
