The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa Avon Avon, Vail Valley-Colorado's first silver-certified hotel set continued its journey as a sustainability leader with two All-Electric 2025 KIA EV9 SUVs to his host fleet. This courageous step underlines the commitment of the resort for eco -conscious hospitality and at the same time improves comfort and convenience for guests.
The Westin Riverfront is a recognized laser in an environmentally friendly manner and is proud to combine this vehicle upgrade with an extended suite of innovative green initiatives and to reaffirm its promise to sustainability over all points of contact with the guest experience.

Authorization of greener meetings
- Thanks to the Marriott Connect program, the resort now offers meeting and event planners the opportunity to calculate the ecological footprint of its meetings. With personalized discussion reports, groups can measure their carbon and water consumption, identify sustainable practices that were implemented during the event and compensate for their emissions with certified CO2 credits.
Sustainable spa upgrades
- Spa Anjali on the Westin Riverfront introduced with the installation of net effect carpet tiles made of 100% recycled yarn, including away from thrown commercial fishing networks, with the installation of net effect carpet tiles. This environmentally conscious floor covering not only reduces waste, but also agrees with the calm, nature -loving design of the SPA.
New interpretation and reuse for a purpose
- As part of a recently refreshing refreshment, the Westin Riverfront donated all the guest room facilities used for humanity Valley and Roaring Fork Valley that were used for Habitat for Humanity Valley. These objects are now available at the local locations for restoring and support the creation of affordable living space in nearby communities.
Art fulfills sustainability
- Guests can now admire Royal Elch/Wapiti the Forest King, a majestic sculpture outdoors, which was made from the local artist Nicholas Lofaro from recessed steel. This remarkable installation symbolizes the fusion of art, nature and environmental responsibility for the resort.

- Refillable foam bathroom devices in all guest baths
