Our hope is that our guests will take up the creativity and ingenuity of these unique places in order to trigger new ideas for their own garden. Every owner has a personal journey of challenges and takes place. Be sure and search for the owner and ask: “What should I learn and take home from my visit?” They all thought about it and are striving to share.
This year we used Give butter, a new ticket processing system with which ticket buyers can donate an easy way for our cause. So far we have received donations of 405 US dollars via ticket sales. These generous donations will make such a big difference in the training that we offer to our community. So, thanks to such people out there!
We are a non -profit organization and literally all the money that will be preserved from ticket sales and the donation to our larger community of gardener friends on orcas and beyond. This will help to cover the costs for our newsletter and website platforms, the Orcas Center Meeting Space costs, Community Outreach projects such as Project Daffodil, monthly program speakers, member events and grants to community organizations.
