In the first phase of the reserve, infrastructure design work, a mixed usage community of $ 1 billion, 210 hectares of urban community in Mansfield began, in which half a mile canal loop and a new town hall have.
According to the city officials, the infrastructure work includes the design of the channels and the main street of the spine. The project is a public-private partnership between Stillwater Capital in Dallas and the city of Mansfield.

According to Stillwater Capital, the triggered project will contain a number of unique water features, including half a mile canal loop, the boardwalk plaza and a 6 hectare lake.
The city said that the outdoor amenities are connected to a city square via a pedestrian network, which is anchored by a new town hall and an adjacent hotel, restaurants, retail stores and entertainment rooms.
The complete development of the project will exceed private investments of $ 1 billion, the city said.

The reserve is located next to the Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in the East Broad Street between Texas State Highway 360 and the US 287, the city said. It will create a walk -in city center that brings a committed public area with unique hospitality experiences, thoughtful work environments and curated living spaces, the city said.
The partners said that with an initial public and private investment of more than 300 million US dollars, the reserve is expected to generate thousands of jobs, increase local economy and contribute to the ongoing development of the region, the city said.
The new town hall and the primary public spaces as well as commercial and living developments are in design. Construction is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of this year, with gradual openings from 2027, said the city.
