The colorful dish of the Golden State joins other remarkable NBA all-star floors


It is the NBA All-Star weekend and the celebrations return to the Bay area for a quarter of a century after the Golden State Warriors last organized the event.

A unique opportunity for cities to increase their stamp for hosting is the All-Star playground. This year the Bay Area opted for a blue and yellow look with a design with the legendary gold gate and the region's laurel bridges, which extend over the ground.

It is not the first time that a host arena with its all-star floor in sights or team colors in the city is succeeded.

Here are some of the most remarkable designs and event logos in the past 25 years.

2024, Indianapolis

Although the all-star game was played on a traditional hardwood floor, the place for the celebrity game and various events made headlines on Saturday evening. For the celebrations of the weekend, an upper video glass LED Court was installed in the Lucas Oil Stadium. Indianapolis also installed a full length of the Indianapolis International Airport to promote the weekend.

2021, Atlanta

The court in the State Farm Arena contained designs and art that paid homage to the HBCU culture and were created in collaboration with various HBCU -Alumni.

2016, Toronto

The Center Court logo in the then Air Canada Center for All-Star Weekend 2016 contained the famous CN Tower in Toronto.

2015, New York

All-Star Weekend 2015 was organized by the two New York franchise companies in the city, and the game's court paid homage to the unique joint hosting setup. The logo of the event Ahmte a New York U railway card.

2008, New Orleans

New Orleans has a rich jazz history that was honored at the 2008 All Star playground. The Center Court logo included four trumpet designs that were exposed to different directions.
