The award -winning garden designer to appear in centers

The Sussex garden designer Juliet Sargeant will give first-class soil advice this month in two family-run garden centers.

The people in the old Barn Garden Center in A24 Dial Post near Horsham have the opportunity to meet the award -winning designer on May 25th.

It will be in the center, in which she recently relocated her shops from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to sign copies of her new book. Start with soil: simple steps for a flowering garden.

On May 26th Julia will do the same in South Downs kindergartens in Hassocks.

She will also be able to give your best garden advice between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The book explains how climate change affects the health of the soil and why every garden begins with good soil.

It also contains information about the science of the soil and the change in the course of the year as well as a guide for various growing media and simple soil test for a healthy garden.

Juliet said: “The old barn garden center is a natural home for my design studio and practical workshops.

“I hope the locals will appear for our monthly garden skills group and get to know us as a source of inspiration and local advice for garden design.”

Benjamin Tate, director of the family -run garden centers, said: “As a famous garden designer and television presenter, it is a real privilege, Juliet here as a guest Wiet and our customers offers the opportunity to meet them personally and find more about their latest book.

“Your expert knowledge, combined with the practical workshops and events that she has already introduced in Old Barn, continues to be very well received.”
