In the news, Mayor Sadiq Khan said: “Last year I committed to the Londoners to present the new Bakerloop bus route that would run between Waterloo and Lewisham. “The new proposed route reflects the route of the potential expansion of the Bakerloo line and combines the people in the southeast of London better and at the same time helps to demonstrate how much capital needs the Bakerloo line expansion. This important infrastructure would not only offer better transport connections and upgrade the existing line, but also unlock thousands of new houses and workplaces, promote the economy and build a better, fairer and more successful Londoner for everyone. “
