Summer 2025 facilities and maintenance projects: (Final update for projects in June to August; September/October project lists in the next week.)
During the summer, our institutions and maintenance department worked hard in the entire school district of Provo City and prioritized high -quality and low improvements for the low for our students and employees. Due to the reuse of materials, wherever possible and focuses on projects with permanent effects, the team continues to improve security, functionality and attractiveness. This update is completed in Amelia Earhart, Franklin, Rock Canyon, Sunset View and Lakeview.
Amelia Earhart Elementary – Classroom and Campus Upgrades
In the Amelia Earhart Elementary, crews replaced floor coverings with durable gray vinyl enclosures and blue carpet tiles, which gives classrooms a fresh, modern feeling. Roof repairs and a kettle upgrade were completed to extend the lifespan of the building and to improve heating efficiency. The kindergarten playground now has a brand new play structure and an exhaust gas-play interface. Concrete and asphalt repairs complete the improvements.
Franklin Elementary – Remodel & input stamping in the classroom
With Franklin, the focus was on creating inviting rooms for young learners. Kindergartens' classes were gutted from the ground and redesigned with new patterned carpet tiles, fresh color and updated lights. The front entry now has dark carpet and cladding, which replaces bare floors with polished, professional reception. Outside, a redesigned playground and asphalt repairs improve security and accessibility on the entire campus.
Rock Canyon Elementary – Freezing Entry
Rock Canyon's summer project focused on initial impressions. The crews added new layers of paint and installed fresh carpet floors in entry and halls. These updates illuminate the room, create a clean, wrestling resistant greeting and protect in the entire building.
Sunset View Elementary – entry and portable upgrades
Sunset View installed new carpet floors and liners in entrances, with worn out soil coverings being replaced by permanent, easily leaning materials. Although the crews are not shown, they have also improved the specific paths around portable classrooms and improve the security and accessibility for pupils and teachers.
Lakeview Elementary – infrastructure improvements
Lakeview focused on the infrastructure this summer. The parking spaces were reappeared and re -touched for an improved traffic flow and security. The east side fence was upgraded to improve security, and an aging boiler was replaced by a modern, energy -efficient unit to enable reliable warming. Photos of these projects are not included, but their effects are felt by the Lakeview community every day.
These targeted upgrades demonstrate our ongoing commitment, intelligent planning, material reuse and an eye on the long -term value of any resource.
