
South Pasadena organizes its annual sustainability fair on Saturday, March 29, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Arroyo Seco Woodland & Wildlife Park (Nature Park). This free, family-friendly event will offer educational programs, a plant exchange, a local factory workshop and a garden tour that all aim to promote environmental awareness and sustainable life.

Plant exchange: exchange and expand your garden

Bring a plant with you, take a plant! Thanks to Bellefontaine Nurery, Bartlett Tree Experts and Artemisia Nurery, there will be a variety of locals and low water systems for exchange.
- Please bring pot and labeled plants.
- Avoid excess cuttings that can waste.

Cultivation of local plants workshop

Accompany Antonio Sanchez, a gardener from the Santa Monica Mountains Fund when he shares Expert tips for propagation of local plants from seeds and cuttings.

Garden tour: Discover South Pasadenas Super Float

Enjoy a guided garden trip to experience the flowering local plants from South Pasadena. Children can take part in the story path or in the natural woman hunting after an interactive learning experience.
