The highlights this week:

While investors had to digest a lot of news, the heading for the stock market was that it was a quiet week. Nevertheless, it is quiet for a market that has intensive volatility this spring and has increased by 13% since the beginning of 2025.

There is no question that we are experiencing a historical level of investment in AI, which has fueled massive profits in semiconductor shares. However, the stock exchange looks forward to the future and is not sufficient that something just grows. Future growth must increase or at least maintain itself. As Hansen explains, there is concern whether investments in SEMIS can continue their intoxicating growth or whether the so -called basic effect occurs and slow growth. Hansen checked for semiconductor editions at Morningstar analysts according to their views. This is with you.

Interest cuts are fed to the other large driver in the markets. The Fed's first reduction this year has short -term bond returns lower, but long -term yields remain increased. This is known as a climbing curve in Wall Street -lingo. Hansen explains this trend and opportunities – and potential risks – that correspond to bond investors.

The FED was cited in another great piece this week when Amy Arnott weighed an overview of the stock exchange. Arnott examines seven important market indicators and comes to the conclusion that a measure of caution is justified for investors. Find out why.

After all, Susan Dziubinski checks on dividend growth shares and screens on undervalued names. She has ten for her observation list, from a lithium producer to a household shoe and clothing manufacturer.
