The Cyber Landscape (SCL) in Singapore 2024/2025 Reviews of cyber security in Singapore in 2024 against a dynamic background of fast digitization and shows Singapore efforts to build a safer cyberspace in the past decade.
This edition of the SCL also marks a milestone for CSA that celebrates its 10TH Anniversary in 2025. This special SCL edition contains several start -up stories. Where early leaders look back on the decades of CSA journey and tell the significant moments in its history.
In accordance with the global trends, the cyber landscape in Singapore was confronted and continues with attacks from the advanced persistent threat (apt) activity (apt), which continuously increases in both scaling and sophistication. Such a grouping stargeting Singapore is UNC3886 and focuses on high-quality, strategic goals, including critical infrastructure.
This SCL also emphasizes a remarkable increase in local threats, in which ransomware and infected infrastructure developed as important concerns. Most of these infections contained old malware tribes and underlined a worrying fact that users, even if ransomware and other cyber threats increasingly, have not updated and blamed any susceptible software.
In the middle of this developing cyber threat landscape, CSA introduced several initiatives in 2024 to improve cyber security for critical information infrastructure (CII), organizations and individuals for which some of the most important initiatives were presented in the SCL. Together with many partners, stakeholders and Singaporers from CSA, we will continue to work towards a future in which everyone can live and work online in a trustworthy, resistant and lively cyberspace.
