More than 300 farmers and emerging agricultural agents in Delta Central received on Friday at the grand finale of the two -day agricultural and nutritional program, which was made easier by Senator Ede Dafinone.
The initiative, the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun's conference center, took a practical training in plant cultivation and fish breeding and equipped the participants with the necessary skills and tools to start their agricultural companies.
Every beneficiary received a starter package that was tailored to his training module. Those who were trained on the first day in “pest resistance vegetables: tomatoes, pepper, corn and peanuts” were provided with high -ranking seedlings, fertilizers and pest control chemicals.
In the meantime, the participants from the meeting on the second day received fish feed, finger ling and pond treatment kits on the second day.
In the distribution, Senator Dafinone's commitment was emphasized for sustainable agriculture and youth qualifications.

The fishing trainees were trained in pond construction, water quality management, breeding techniques and disease prevention.
The master coach Mr. Obasi Sunday instructed the participants for the production of tomatoes and pepper, while Ms. Raheem Adejoke Arike covered good agricultural practices for the cultivation of corn.
Ms. Olabisi Oladele emphasized the control of peanut diseases and soil fertility, and Ms. T. Adeshola introduced innovative methods for the powerful okra agriculture.
