Sustainable clothing, beauty products and more will take place at the Marinship Block Party of Sausalito, a sample sale with several companies in Bay Area. The today and Saturday on the open-air market includes Carve Designs, Eddy, Buttersky, Botina Skincare and 8th & Ivy Creamery.

Here is a look at some participants.

Carving

When two friends, Jennifer Hinton and Mill Valley, Thayer Sylvester, relaxed during a surf trip in Mexico, talked about the challenges in the search for board shorts that fit “real women with real bodies” who had an adventure joy.

This conversation inspired her company, Carve Designs, which you founded in 2003.

Since then, surfing has developed into a full beach lifestyle brand with a view to sustainability, with 95% of its line made of recycled, upcycled and sustainable materials.

During the marinship block party, Carve designs with prices from 5 to 20 US dollars offer patterns in sizes XS.

Eddy

Eddy was described as a nickname by owner Megan Eddings as a nickname and was founded in San Francisco in 2022.

The company's clothes combine “elevated California Bohemia with global inspiration” and “focus on brave and feminine silhouettes”. The prices for the sale are between 20 and 100 US dollars.

Buttersky

If you love a lush lip gloss, take a look at Buttersky.

It is a vegan and cruelty-free beauty brand, which was founded in 2023 by Audra Holcombe-Yadav, a professional makeup artist and licensed beautician, and her aunt Laurie Holcombe.

They created the company to offer high -semicine, moisturizing lip gloss with skin -loving ingredients that “as good as they look”.

8. & Ivy Creamery

Create one of the first 15 people on the 8th & Ivy Crea American's table and you will achieve free ice cream.

There will be a good offer for everyone else who wants to try the small, protein -frozen treats of the company.

The Oakland Company, founded by Stephanie Anderson, offers pints and hand -packed bars from entire ingredients and functional nutrition to “redefine how healthy enjoyment looks and tastes”. The prices are between 7 and 14 US dollars.
