Rutherford Way to start pond repair project

Howard County Executive Ball releases focus group recommendations for county's first public garden

Ellicott City, MD – A construction project by Howard County to repair and improve the rainwater management pond and the stabilization of the stream channel In addition to 4525 Rutherford Way in Dayton, on Monday, June 2. The project includes the replacement of the existing Spillway run, the riser tube, the low-flow pipe and the outfall structure with a reinforced concrete run and riser. The project also includes adapting and stabilizing the existing stream channel next to the pond. The weather is expected to be completed at the end of September.

The project is not expected to influence the flow of traffic, but in the project area the applications are informed about the residents of the building, which take place from Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and occasionally on Saturdays with prior notice.

This project is financed by the Watershed Protection and Restoration Fund of the district.
