Visakhapatnam: Minister of Tourism, Culture and Kinematography, Kandula Durgesh, expressed his joy about the restoration of the Blue Flag certification for Rushikonda Beach in Visakhapatnam. He said that the state government had fulfilled its promise to restore international recognition and promotion of the beach Environmentally friendly tourism.
DURGESH estimated the efforts of the officials of the tourism department, the collector Harendhira Prasad and officials from the GVMC, VMRDA, police and forest department to achieve certification. He also thanked Prime Minister Chandrababu Naidu and deputy Prime Minister Pawan Kalyan for their support.
