The Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club hosted its annual Pumpkin Succulent Workshop at the Secret Garden in Rancho Santa Fe on October 20, bringing members together for a festive morning of creativity and camaraderie.

The fall event invited participants to create unique centerpieces by decorating pumpkins with succulent clippings and fall ornaments. The Garden Club provided materials for the workshop, while members also contributed their own succulent plant cuttings to share with one another — a tradition that reflects the club's spirit of collaboration and generosity, according to a news release.

From elegant arrangements to whimsical designs, each pumpkin reflected its creator's personal style and imagination. “It was a fun-filled morning as members designed their gardens into unique masterpieces,” Marianne Brigham, president of the Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club, said in the news release. “We were grateful that RSF Foundation staff helped us prepare the event during their staff service day. This reinforced the wonderful community spirit that makes this Garden Club so special.”

The Pumpkin Succulent Workshop is one of many events at the Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club. These events include a lecture series, field trips, and visits to members' private gardens.
