PUBLIC NOTICE ABOUT STORM WATER DRAINAGE DCW | Laws

PUBLIC AWARENESS OF STORM WATER RUNOFF DCW Real Estate, LLC plans to file a Notice of Intent with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources to be covered under National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Permit No. 2 for “Stormwater Discharges Associated with Industrial Activities for Construction Activities.” Stormwater runoff will come from construction activities associated with the construction of Hales Mills Commercial Park, including land clearing, excavation and grading, grading for buildings and parking areas for road installation, grading for a wet pond, installation of drainage structures, and preparation for seeding and associated utility facilities in NW ¼ Section 20, Township 89 North, Range 2 East, Dubuque County, Iowa. Stormwater will be diverted from the site's stormwater system to a proposed pond and via unnamed drainage ways to the City of Asbury storm sewer to the Cloie Branch to the Little Maquoketa River to the Mississippi River. Comments may be directed to the Stormwater Diversion Coordinator, Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Division, 502 East Ninth Street, Des Moines, IA 50319-0034. The public may view the Notice of Intent after it is received by the Department, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the above address. 1d 12/24
