The “Trolls”-inspired Poppy's Playground at Universal Studios Florida's DreamWorks Land is temporarily closed for renovations.
Poppy's Playground closed
Ropes with signs reading “Temporarily Out of Order” are stretched between posts, blocking access to the playground. Makeshift fences block the far side of the playground, preventing guests from climbing over planters and benches.
There are two construction sets in the playground that are the same red color as the big mushroom in the middle so they don't stand out. There used to be two flower buckets here that guests could climb into. A bucket remains in front of the playground.
Pictured above is one of the kits and the bucket it replaced. The vines connecting all three buckets to the mushroom have also been removed.
The playground first opened with DreamWorks Land in May of this year. The country's other playground, Shrek's Swamp for little ogres, was recently closed for a few weeks to install safety railings. Poppy's Playground may also receive security updates.
