Shrewsbury, trade fair. (WHDH)-A person died and a 26-year-old suspect is in custody on Thursday morning, according to the district lawyer after a shootout in Shrewsbury.
The police reacted to demands for a disturbance at 8:48 a.m. Civil servants said that there was a dispute on a path next to Jordan Pond.
The police said the victim saw the suspicious spray brick in the area and took a photo of him.
The police from Shrewsbury were accompanied by several law enforcement authorities who were looking for an “armed and dangerous” suspect in the area of edgewater and Plainfield Avenue.
When they arrived, the police said that the victim was found and later died of his injuries. Officials say the victim had just gone to school.
The suspect was seen how they watered down plants in a white home with graffiti on his siding. Neighbors say that the suspect “BLM” and “Free Palestine” exuded “Blm” and “Free Palestine” on the side of the house.
The man went out of the front door of the house and was said to go down.
“I look outside. I see a few police officers. I heard my neighbors say below that they got the guy. I see that all police officers are here, the Swat here,” said Tomas Casey, who lives near the scene.
At this point, no charges are raised, and the suspect is known to the police from Shrewsbury. People who live and work nearby say that they are also familiar with the suspect.
“A few days ago we had an examination of him, where he was thrown through the parking lot, we started to scream one of the employees here. Then I spoke to people, he started to scream me and told me I should take care of my own business. It is only crazy, crazy,” said John Bissonnette, who works near the Arrest scene.
Officials advised the residents to avoid the area and protect them in the area on site.
The investigators have arrest warrants and look for the house for information in the course of the examination.
