More than 630,000 US dollars are invested in the structure and modernization of important citizens' institutions in Dungog Shire as part of a package that was developed by the national candidate for Lyne Alison Penfold in cooperation with local communities.
Ms. Penfold said that the investment in Dungog Shire would flow into five separate projects if it were chosen on May 3 as part of a coalition government.
“Each of these projects will improve life capacity and lifestyle in Dungog Shire, and I have committed to delivering this financing after talking extensively and working with the community,” said Ms. Penfold.
“The nationals are the only party that identifies, and delivers and delivers their creation in regional communities – we have our fingers on the pulse of our communities and understand that smaller regional councils cannot always achieve what is on their wish list without targeted and strategic investments from other government levels.
“If we commit to these projects when we are elected to the government, we can get you going as soon as possible and at the same time facilitate the financial burden on the council, the interest payer and the user groups.”
The financing was obliged for five individual projects within Dungog Shire:
Clarence Town Fitness Loop & Town Green Family Facilities Upgrade – 265,000 US dollars
The work includes the installation of fitness fitness stations, new tables, seating and grills in the village green, the construction of a 4 km long cities that combine the green and the KAI reserve with hiking and distant markings, as well as the rehabilitation of the wetland.
Upgrade from Gresford, Orana Park – 100,000 US dollars
In the work, existing facilities are updated to update covered seats with access options, due to the existing toilets to the BBQ area and the parking border, solar lighting and parking design.
Dungog, linen-free dog park $ 97,000
The work includes the construction of a dog -free area in the city center of Dungog and include fences and facilities such as dog bags and waste disposal.
Honor, Bennett Park Lighting – $ 95,000
The work includes the installation of solar lighting in Bennett Park Sporting Precinct to expand their use and accessibility for the community and a number of sports groups, including Cricket, Junior and Senior Rugby League, Touch Football, Local Schools and Residents. The project was identified as the development of its open rooms and the recreational strategy of Council 2023.
Listen to tennis club house -Upgrade -78,000 US dollars
Work includes the construction of improved kitchen facilities, storage, signage, internal equipment and a renovation of the club's meeting room and was identified as a priority by developing its open rooms and the 2023 leisure strategy.
Ms. Penfold said the package was part of her large picture plan to create stronger, safer and better communities for Lyne by investing in social infrastructures.
