Nascar threatens disqualifications for the landscape after the race

Nascar basically sent a warning to the teams, during the race after a race after a race to increase the weight before the technical inspection after the race, not to drive off the route to the dirt.

Ross Chastain and Shane van Gisbergen were honored for this tactic, but Joey Logano announced it after the race on Sunday on the World Wide Technology Raceway.

Brad Moran, Managing Director of the Nascar Cup series, said the teams would receive a memo this week, and the Managing Director of Mike for Communication was repeated on Wednesday in his podcast “Freiader Talk”.

“We didn't take care of it, not a little,” said Ford. “We will only remind the teams that we actually have a rule. I think we will (trackhouse) a little of a warning. But there is a rule that says what they did – you could argue – a rule, and it could have broken against reviews.

The rule referred by Fode is 6421.B, where cars are considered under confiscated conditions as soon as they take the checkered flag and not be changed or adapted during the cooling round or on Pitstrasse before reaching the inspection area.

The most logical explanation, since it is an enormous amount of historical priority, is that drivers run into the grass to win additional weight so that they meet the minimum tolerance.

“This is something that we will frown in a considerable way,” said Forsde. “It will be determined after the event whether this will be a punishment in races or a DQ. It depends on how obviously the violation was. I do not think we will describe exactly what the effects would be because we would take it on a case.”

Chastain and Van Gisbergen took the 24th and 25th place, but had to undergo inspection because both playoff drivers are. They left the second round of the first round 19 points over the points and 15 points under the cutline.

Note that Alex Bowman was disqualified last year after the race on Charlotte Motor Speedway because he had no longer did the minimum weight. This disqualification led to its removal from the playoffs and to reinstate Joey Logano in the 8th round.

“These teams are so close to the weight line,” said Forsde. “You know exactly how we can exist after the race for 17-pound tolerance. In Darlington we measured every single playoff car, and there were a few cars that were almost failed within a pound.”
