A traditional Transylvanian gate recreated in brick form is the latest LEGO Ideas entry to make it into the third review of 2025.
It's been a busy 24 hours for LEGO Ideas. Five new sets emerged from the first review in 2025 (plus a sixth was removed from the parking lot) and several fan-designed models made it into the third review in 2025.
The latter sets currently under consideration now include the Szekler Gate (Székelykapu), created by LEGO Ideas member Koppeczky. Composed of fewer than 1,000 parts, the model is based on similar traditional gates found in some parts of eastern Transylvania.
The Szekler Gate (Székelykapu) appears to be a fairly simple structure, replicating the gate itself in various brown elements and with a selection of colored parts to represent its decoration. The decorative pieces symbolize the many beliefs of the locals, such as the sun, the six-petaled sunflower (Rosetta), tulips and the rotating roses, reflecting man and woman.
The LEGO Ideas 10K entry also includes three opening gates and a minifigure of a traditional Transylvanian guard armed with two different weapons, as well as a companion dog figure and a decorative stone path.
Szekler Gate (Székelykapu) joins 29 other fan designs currently in the third LEGO Ideas review of 2025, with which models could become future physical sets to be announced early next year.
