Kirei has announced the launch of its EchoSky Neu Baffle System. With EchoSky New, Kirei has redesigned its proven EchoSky baffle system to do more with less, replacing metal frameworks with lightweight PET crossbars. This new and improved system reduces weight, simplifies handling and reduces the number of hanging points required, ultimately resulting in a more efficient installation.
Inspired by modern architecture and heat sinks, EchoSky Neu's complex geometry is designed to minimize unwanted echoes in any room. EchoSky New is available in three standard profiles – Linear, Steppe and Tide – allowing for multiple configurations and different ceiling designs. Each unit measures 72 x 36 inches, allowing designers to create large-scale installations and sculptural ceilings, reimagine interiors, and transform the fifth wall into a design-focused space. From color and print to size and profile, designers can customize every detail while benefiting from easy and reliable installation.
With an array NRC of 0.70, Kirei's EchoSky Neu is made from 60% post-consumer recycled plastic, so designers can be confident that every product they specify diverts plastic bottles from the waste stream. It meets and exceeds CDPH standards for VOC emissions, is Red List free and carries the Declare label. EchoSky Neu is inherently Class A fire rated, has HPD and EPD documentation, and is eligible for LEED and WELL building credits. Kirei products are custom-cut, available in over 35 continuous PET colors, and can be custom printed using Kirei Ink, an in-house printing service that delivers remarkably realistic quality. EchoSky New is also delivered flat and assembled on site, helping to reduce the carbon footprint.
