A 3,700 meter long expansion to combat flooding, improve safety and expand the car park to over 1,100 spaces, all ahead of schedule.

PATTAYA, Thailand – Deputy Mayor Manot Nongyai has reported significant progress on the Jomtien Beach landscape improvement project, which stretches over 3,700 meters. The one from Dynamic Group Products Co., Ltd. The project aims to address ongoing flooding issues in Pattaya and Jomtien, boost investor confidence and boost the local economy. Construction is progressing faster than planned, with completion expected to take place three to four months earlier than planned in 2025.

The project includes several upgrades, including underground electrical systems, improved drainage, pedestrian walkways, tree plantings and lighting systems. This also includes the construction of drainage points near ferry docks and the realignment of sidewalks with expanded parking options. Upon completion, the number of parking spaces will increase from 629 to 1,161. In addition, overhead electrical lines along the 4-kilometer stretch of Na Jomtien Beach will be buried underground, improving both aesthetics and safety.

High mast lighting will be installed along the beach to increase illumination and safety. Construction will be carried out in sections of 100 meters each, with work such as pipe installation, road and sidewalk construction and tree planting taking around six weeks per section. Completed sections will be reopened to traffic as soon as possible.

The contractor has not encountered any significant obstacles and is working efficiently. Construction work will be paused during holiday periods and public holidays to minimize disruption to residents and tourists. Temporary relocation arrangements will be made for affected beach vendors while work progresses along the coast.

This ambitious project is expected to significantly improve the safety, functionality and attractiveness of Jomtien Beach and enhance Pattaya's reputation as a premier tourist destination.
