Phoenix-Inmitte of off-Af tariffs and an uneven economic views are small business owners in the valley in frenzy when they try to navigate uncertain times.
At the beginning of this month, the United States raised steep tariffs in around 90 countries, including China, Canada and Mexico. On April 9, President Trump introduced a 90-day break for mutual tariffs for all countries mentioned with the exception of China. The United States has involved a tariff volley with China, which includes China's survey on April 10 with a tariff of 145% – and China reacted with a mutual mutual tariff of 125%.
The global sparring has already come to home with local business owners who manufacture or procure products abroad.
A Valley business that feels the immediate effects of tariffs is the “Shark Tank” shortage based in Phoenix, which recently recorded a drop in sales by 40%.
