Rakets: Consistent Durant, improved opportunities for young wings
The Rockets moved their two starting wings in this deal and added Durant to a starting line -up, in which Fred Vanvleet, Reed Sheppard, Amen Thompson, Durant and Alperen Sengun with Jabari Smith, Tari Eason and Cam Whitmore are as key reserves with starters. Durant's role in this team should be similar to that in Phoenix a highly efficient top scorer with solid peripheral statistics.
The late Green was the leading scorer of the Rockets last season with 21.0 ppg to 17.5 FGA, while Brooks achieved an average of an average of 14.0 ppg at 11.9 FGA. With the suns last season, Durant had an average of 26.6 ppg at 18.1 FGA. In Houston, he is committed to effectively receiving a similar number of looks as green while he has ended a much higher efficiency.
The two rockets, which most likely get the largest bump in the fantasy hoop value from this movement, are Thompson and Sheppard. ThompsonThe No. 4 selection in the NBA design of 2023 showed a great upward trend potential last season as a part-time starter. In 42 starts, he achieved an average of 16.0 ppg, 9.2 RPG, 4.9 APG, 1.7 SPG and 1.6 BPG in 35.9 mpg. The 22-year-old Thompson has 2.0 blocks and 2.0 steals on the head of 20/10/5 as a full-time start in his third season.
Sheppard Was the No. 3 election in the NBA design of 2024, but the rockets were so deep that Sheppard spent a large part of his rookie season in the G league. With this trade, the Rockets Sheppard opened Place to play an important role in the second year. Sheppard is an excellent 3-point shooter and combo guard, who achieves with several 3-point parts with several 3-converter and a handful of templates per game on his head.
After the trade, Durant remains a health/availability-dependent top 25 fantasy hoops with top-25. Thompson moves as a starter in the top 50 of the Fantasy Hoops ranking with top 30 upward port. Sheppard was in the role he had last season, not on the radar of Fantasy Hoops, but when he gets starter/sixth man as Sophomore, he has a top 1330-piece (Fringe Draftable in Fantasy Hoops Ligen) and a top 80 (Flex starter).

What Kevin Durant Trade means for rockets, Suns
Tim Bontemps collapses, which the rockets and suns win from the Kevin Durant trade.
Suns: There will probably be more movements
The Suns brought Green, a natural shooter, to a team in which the three best reigning players play all shooters. Devin Booker, Bradley Beal and Grayson naturally play the two. Brooks is another in -depth wing, and its size and skills overlap with promising rising second Ryan Dunn and the veteran Royce O'Neale. In view of the excessive number of wings and the relative lack of starting talents in the center or the Point Guard, it seems likely that the Sun's list will probably be subjected to more changes in this off-season, in addition to the lottery pick for which you have just acted. As such, it is difficult to project the value of the fantasy hoop of your current roster.
If we rate the line-up as it is, Booker will probably change with Green, Beal and everyone as primary wing options and Brooks/Dunn, both of which play forward slots. Green Is an up-and-coming star as a goalkeeper, and he probably benefits from the game alongside an all-NBA artist in Booker who would attract defensive attention and receive green more open looks. Green would take the lion's share of Durant's firing volume and in his mid -20s the average upswing of mid -20s.
Brooks If a 3-and-D/intensity is, and if he maintains starter minutes, his fantasy value in Phoenix does not change much.
Beeal is the question mark. He had fallen out of the starting line -up last season and, as the third top scorer of the team behind Booker and Durant, could not be consistent. Although Green is also a good goal scorer, he is not durant, and it is possible that Beal could illustrate a larger part of the crime again … if he is healthy, which was the other important obstacle for his fantasy value.
With the currently constructed roster, Booker's general fantasy value does not change much, although his statistics could tend to assist a little more if he plays full-time point guard. He is still a top 20 player with top 15 on his head. Green gets a light bump, from only outside to directly within the top 50. Beal improves easily, from just outside to just into the top 100. – Snellings

Durant's arrival in Houston immediately converted the rockets into championship disputes. Before the trade, Houston's NBA title was the NBA title in 18: 1 next season. They are +850 at ESPN Bet, which is located in the league on the second best, only behind the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Rockets already had a strong foundation, which ended under Ime Udoka with 52-30 with aspiring stars such as Alperen Sengun and Amen Thompson. However, they fought in important offensive areas and took the 27th place in both an effective field target percentage at Springer and points per direct isolation. Durant, who is still one of the most efficient goal scorers in the league at the age of 36, deals directly with these weaknesses. He achieved an average of 26.6 ppg and performed the league in the shooting percentage for jumpers (49.7%), midsmith shots (53.1%) and the jumpers (50.9%).
Houston sent Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and Picks to Phoenix, but kept their core and added one of the biggest goal scorers in the history of the league. Durant also combines with Udoka, with whom he goes out a strong relationship that goes back to her time with the Brooklyn Nets and Team USA.
This trade not only improves Houston, but also transforms them into a legitimate competitor. With Elite Shot Creation, proven playoff experience and a first-class trainer, the Rockets are worth using it. – –– moody
