Haverford Systems has provided environmental responsibility, ethics procurement and core pillars of his business strategy in the community Outreach.

Haverford Systems, a leading audiovisual integration company based in Downinging, not only talks about the conversation when it comes to protected the environment and the local communities are strengthened – it's not just about walking.
Haverford Systems has designed its business strategy through the recently updated charter for social responsibility for companies, ethics procurement and core columns of the Community Outreach -pillars of its business strategy. From the conversion of its entire vehicle fleet into hybrid or electrical models in 2010 until the installation of a solar order, which now offers 100 percent of its headquarters, the company proves that even high-technical industries can lead their way to a more sustainable future.
“Our commitment goes beyond compliance,” said Jerry Donohue, manager for social responsibility for companies at Haverford Systems. “We are actively looking for ways to reduce our environmental influences in every phase – from the supply chain to the packaging materials we use to our practice of our processes.”
This year, Haverford Systems took another important step by installing a cardboard Perforation shredder, so that it eliminates the use of plastic bubble packaging in favor of repeated, environmentally friendly materials. Nowadays, 96 percent of the company's packaging materials are free of styrofoam and other plastics and often use compostable options where moisture protection is required.
The efforts of Haverford Systems have received recognition as a smartway transport partner to a greater extent by the Environmental Protection Agency, an honor that underlines the company's commitment to reduce emissions in connection with transport.
Sustainability in Haverford Systems does not stop at the bearing door. It works with local non -profit organizations such as the wardrobe to tackle the uncertainty of clothing in the Philadelphia area and has teamed up with the Chester County Food Bank to ensure that no foods are wasted by company events.
“We believe that real corporate responsibility means strengthening the communities we call at home,” said Donohue. “Regardless of whether it is a volunteer work in a local school or to ensure that our e-waste is properly recycled, we want to be part of solutions that go beyond the audiovisual world.”
In accordance with his Community Engagement Mission, Haverford Systems started the Streamgeeks Academy in 2024 and offers children in underserved population groups free practical classes in technical computers and streaming skills. The company also supports StEM education initiatives with pending partnerships with local organizations such as Brandywine Robotics.
Transparency and accountability remain the focus of Haverford System's approach. The newly created sustainability office, which was founded in 2024, ensures that the company's initiatives are continuously monitored, measured and reported. The office includes managers from operations, human resources and social responsibility for companies and signals cross -functional commitment to ethical and sustainable growth.
“Sustainability is not a unique project-is a way of thinking that we use in all aspects of our business,” said Donohue. “Sustainability is not what we do. It is who we are.”
