Gunmen rob buildings in the parking lot, says MPD | News

Memphis, tenn. -According to the Memphis Police Department (MPD), several Cruz Construction employees with a weapon held on a Kroger parking lot were robbed overnight.

The police said on Saturday around 2:50 a.m. that a man and his wife slept in their car after completing a flooring in the Kroger in the 7942 Winchester Road. The man noticed that two masked men approached in a white sedan, said MPD. The couple was threatened by armed men and let their passenger windows break, where, according to the police, one of the armed men from the back seat steel.

According to the MPD, other employees at Cruz Construction were parked next to the couple and also sleep in their car. The police said they woke up with the fact that their car was collapsed by the armed men. According to the police, a total of 800 US dollars were stolen from their car.

MPD said the armed men fled the scene in a white sedan.

According to officials, only Kroger managers have access to the safety material, but the officers have called up fingerprints from both car doors.
