Griffin Pond Animal Shelter opens a new recreation room, comfort for animals after the operation

Griffin Pond Animal Shelter celebrated a ceremony for ligaments this afternoon to celebrate the latest addition to the building: a recovery room.

The room is financed with a grant of 15,000 US dollars by Robert H. Spitz Foundation and offers a sterile and quiet location for the recovery of animals after the operation.

“When a dog or a cat comes out of anesthesia, they are really afraid. They don't know their warehouses. They could beat up in a recovery kennel. If there are really loud noises and excitement, they could be frightened.

The room is an extensions financed by many grants to the comfort and care of rescued animals, starting with the clinic, which was built in 2023, which includes the X -ray room, the operating room and the laboratory room.

In addition to the recording of an examination room, the shelter looks in this list with a community requirement of 12,000 US dollars with the Scranton Area Community Foundation.
