Walton County, Florida (WJHG/WECP) – Members of the Green Thumb Garden Club in Walton County gathered on Thursday for a special event in Miramar Beach.
Laura Dowling was a former flower designer of the White House, a former flower designer of the White House. During her time in Washington DC, Dowling headed public, private and special events, including Christmas in the White House.
Dowling tells us that she should demonstrate and show the art of flower arrangements how flowers are more than just a heart.
“I hope that people will begin the potential of floral design, how they can communicate emotions so that they can really combine a topic with someone and tell a story,” said Dowling.
In NewChannel 7, the Green Thumb Garden Club is communicated to beautify Walton County through various events and public relations.
