The new QH in King's Lynn will have single rooms for all stations

The first designs for a new hospital will be exhibited at a number of public events from this week.

The vision for the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital (Qeh) in King's Lynn, which is built in the parking lot of the current hospital, will contain single rooms for all stations.

As a reinforced, autoclavated hospital with ventilation concrete (RAAC), the QH was prioritized for the reconstruction of the National New Hospital program.

The new building is being developed using the national guidelines from the new hospital program, which was developed in consultation with hundreds of clinics, health employees and patients across the country, said the NHS Trust.

Paul Brooks, director of goods and facilities of the new Qeh, said the graphic would “give people a feeling of how our new, digitally enabled hospital works”.

“I look forward to meeting as many people as possible at these events, updating our progress on a new QH and work in order to keep our current website open and to offer the best possible support.”

The participants have the opportunity to learn more about the new multi -storey parking lot that is an important project for the new hospital.

The public can see the plans and designs for the new hospital at several meetings

Peter Cox, program director of the new hospital, said that feedback would “as we know that there are concerns” that the new build.

“At this point they are really concept,” he said.

“We will go through a process in the next 12 to 18 months and then have a number of plans for which we can apply for the planning.”

Experts who participate in meetings also explain how services are developed for the new building, including the preparation of the departments for the move and research of innovations in healthcare in order to meet the needs of the local population for future generations.

From June 10 to July 21, meetings will take place at seven locations in West Norfolk.
