Talented Nigerian fashion designer, Oluwaseun Kuforiji popularly known as Koil Creation has achieved an impressive milestone by handcrafting 10 complete traditional outfits within 72 hours.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the feat is part of the 120-hour Sew-A-Thon, an initiative aimed at setting a Guinness World Record.
Speaking to Nan on Sunday, Kuforiji attributed his success to his focus and exceptional craftsmanship, which enabled him to create intricate designs.
“These include agbada, danshiki, kimonos and long dresses, all of which use only one needle and thread.
“This extraordinary achievement is not just about setting a Guinness World Record, but also celebrating the timeless elegance of African fashion.
“It is a way to honor our culture, inspire young creatives and showcase the strength of Nigerian talent to the world,” he added.
