The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program aims to celebrate the city's less natural landscape with its latest nature walk. “Our landscape is natural, isn't it? Everything is indigenous, natural and part of our ecosystem, which has always looked that way? Well, things may not be what they seem,” said Mhairi Donnelly. “Take this guided walk and discover how European settlement on the prairies has changed and continues to transform the landscape around us.” The walk begins on December 3rd at 10:30 a.m. on the way to River Dental. Interested parties do not need to register to participate and no payment is required. This program is made possible by a grant from the Land Stewardship Center of Canada. 5
