Clean the sky - positive eco trends and breakthroughs

Woolmark and Colourizd ™ have launched 'Quantumcolor ™ Technology', a sustainable breakthrough in wool coloring. In contrast to conventional methods that apply “60–120 liters of water per kilogram and rely on harmful chemicals such as acids, bleach and salts, QuantumColor ™ uses only 0.5 liters of water per kilogram and eliminates reservation, bleach and waste water discharge completely.”

In this innovative process, “a Bluesign®-certified pigment and binder system is used to ensure no toxic waste or chemical drain”. The pigment is injected directly into the yarn fiber bundle and delivers permanent, high -quality color and significantly reduces the environment -related footprint.

Since the sustainability goals in the textile industry are stricter, QuantumColor ™ offers a practical, environmentally friendly solution without impairing performance. Through dramatic reduction in water consumption and the elimination of dangerous chemicals, this technology supports a more responsible future for wool coloring and is the same with the global efforts for cleaner, more environmentally friendly textiles.
