The Maple Grove police examined whether a body that was discovered in a mining plant is connected to a recently reported resident.
The body, which was found on Friday at 6:30 a.m. by a worker near Martin Marietta Maple Grove Grove Pit near the Valley Forge Lane and 85th Avenue N., was recovered by the Sheriff's Water Patrol Division by Hennepin County.
Until Sunday afternoon, neither the identification of the body nor a possible cause of death had been disclosed.
SGT. Jonathan Proulx said on Sunday that the body could be connected to a recently registered missing person.
The 35 -year -old Corey Lee Dixon Jr. was previously reported by the police after seeing the last one on August 18 when he voluntarily left his house on a blue bike on the Cottonwood Lane.
In a bulletin on August 22, the authorities said that there were concerns about the well -being of the man when the police were looking for the public when looking for Dixon.
Officials rejected it to say whether the ceremonial body was and found that the office of the medical examiner of the Hennepin County would soon be published the identity and the cause of death of the person.
