Bhimdatanagar City with solar -powered road lights/RSS illuminated

Kanchanpur: Bhimdatanagar City is now illuminated with solar -powered road lights after the municipality of Bhimdatta has installed it along the main roads.

The east-west motor and the Mahendranagar-Basar have brightened up considerably after installation.

The municipal spokesman Padmaraj Awasthi said that the municipality had 115 solar street lights installed on the east-west motorway as part of its campaign to make Bhimdatanagar Heller.

“In the first phase, 115 Solar lights from Bhasi were installed along the highway after the Mahendranagar bazaar,” he said. “In the second phase we plan to expand the installation to Gaddachauki.”

Awasthi added that the community aimed to install Solar Street Lights in all 19 stations to transform Bhimdatanagar into a well -lit city. A contract of 6.974 million RS was signed for the first installation of the solar lights.

A contract worth 2,282 million rupees was signed for the second phase. In this phase, 30 solar streenlights were installed between Gaddachauki and Bhujela, according to the community. The lights were set up on both sides of the highway to ensure the convenience and safety of the citizens.

The Mahendranagar Bazaar was modernized as part of the regional urban development project with the support of Asian Development Bank. In the first phase of the project, together with road construction worth 1 billion rupees, “High Mast Lights” were installed in the city, Pawan Lekhak, explained a sub -engine in the community.

“A total of 776 lights were installed along the city's main streets,” he said. “Eight high mast lights alone are in the market area.” He added that electricity poles and telephone wires are laid behind the streets to improve the appearance of the market.

The residents say that the new lighting made it easier for students to commute on the campus in the morning. “It was difficult to travel on the streets when it was dark, but now it's much safer and easier,” said Ganesh Bhatta, a local. “The community should also focus on maintaining the lights after installation.”

The residents have found that the street lamps have improved the nightly mobility for everyone. They said that the flickering sunlight along the highway reduced the risk of accidents and made the trip safer for students and vehicles.
