K-State Research and Extension-Lyon County, Expansion Gardener, are pleased to announce the list of workshops for the 2025 Grow your Garden series. The Grow Your Garden series is a collection of practical workshops with which people who want to increase their knowledge of gardening want to give plant activities, or those who simply like to work with plants.
These practical workshops take place on the third Wednesday of the month from March except May and August. Workshops take place in the Lyon County Extension Office.
The schedule of the 2025 series is:
March 19 – let us speak of curb appeal
April 16 – growing hydrangeas
June 18 – flower design
July 16 -Make your own Olla water pot
September 17 – propagating succulents
October 15th – pumpkin heart
November 19 – Make a holiday wreath
All workshops have a limitation of 20 participants, with the exception of the workshop in holiday wreath production. Workshops begin at 6:00 p.m. in the meeting room or the Garage of the Lyon County Extension Office. New for 2025 cost all workshops $ 20.00, with the exception of the pumpkin heart and the Krazy -Making workshops that cost $ 25.00.
