As 2025 officially begins, the Public Works of the City of Verona has announced the opening of its new drop-off point for brushwood and garden waste.
The site at 2159 Range Trail is open from dusk to dawn seven days a week. It is only available to residents of the city of Verona.
According to a press release, the facility will provide quick and easy disposal of brush and yard waste while ensuring the cleanliness of the community. Public Works will no longer accept waste at 410 Investment Court.
What can be given away?
Residents can bring the following materials to the construction site:

Brush: Branches, sticks, twigs, bushes and tree trunks (up to 8 inches in diameter and 12 feet in length)

Garden waste: Grass clippings, leaves, garden waste and plant debris
The site does not accept root balls, engineered lumber, lumber, decking materials, metals, hazardous waste, equipment or trash.
Rules of use
To ensure proper use of the site, residents are reminded to only leave brush and garden waste at designated locations.

Live Christmas trees can be placed curbside for pickup by 7 a.m. on the second and fourth Mondays in January

The next curbside brush pickup will be the second Monday in April

Brush and yard waste will no longer be accepted at 410 Investment Ct.

The Range Trail drop-off location is not intended for use by commercial contractors
Safety and security
To ensure the integrity of the site, security cameras monitor activity 24/7. Residents are encouraged to follow the rules and only take brush and garden waste to designated areas to keep the site clean and efficient.
