The Calusa Garden Club's annual sale was a success

The Calusa Garden Club of Marco Island Plant and Floral Design Sale on Saturday, November 22nd was a great success.

Marco Islanders and visitors purchased over 100 landscape and house plants, including poinciana trees and many native plants. Colorful, autumn-fresh and dried floral patterns were also good sellers, with over 50 designs to choose from.

Terrariums were also for sale at this year's auction, as ready-made miniature gardens for your home or as DIY kits, as well as a garden market table with ornaments. And the children's activity table, where kids could make seed bombs and learn about plants while getting temporary tattoos, was a huge hit! Parents can also learn about Camp Wekiva, the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs-sponsored environmental and nature camp to which the Calusa Garden Club on Marco Island provides camper space.

The Calusa Garden Club of Marco Island meets monthly from October through April in the Rose Hall of the Marco Branch Library. Membership is open to individuals who have lived in Collier County for at least five months. For more information, visit calusa.org.
