If you're excited about the upcoming Valve Steam Machine and want to get your hands on a Steam Deck, the base model is now discounted to $399 in Canada. Normally it costs $499.
The discounted model is the base model with 256 GB of storage and an LCD display. The OLED models are still available at their regular prices. The 512GB is $689 and the 1TB is $819.
The sale only runs until December 1st, so anyone who wants to take advantage will have to act quickly. However, the handheld was also on sale at the same discount at the end of September, so it's unlikely we'll see the last of this offer.
All in all, that's a pretty great price for an entry-level handheld gaming console. Compared to the $799 Xbox ROG Ally, it seems like an even better deal, even if the Xbox version can run a few more games.
