The ASIH Jenie, born in Jakarta, who grew up in Singapore and based in Singapore, completed training in a visual communication design at the Bandungs Institute of Technology and Architecture at Parahyangan Catholic University. It brings both strict and heart into design journalism, shaped by a pronounced Southeast Asian voice.
As a child, she scribbled on the edges of her school books and never grew beyond her fascination for everything well made and well told. Her 15-year career includes editorial roles and authors in Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Australia as well as room design titles such as Dwell Asia, Cubes, Design Anthology, Habitus Living and Home & Decor.
After a brief activity in public relations, she returned to the publishing house in 2023 Tatler Homes SingaporeWhere she continues to tell stories about how we shape the rooms that shape us.
