How the state closure affects, UAAG Ansbach | Article

Ansbach, Germany – A claim to funds before September 30, 2025 forced parts of the government to close, including some services from the garrison and its plants in Ansbach and Illesheim.

Usag Ansbach services can be limited, reduced or closed. Expect longer waiting times for services in the front door.

The Centers of the Army Community Service (ACS) in Katterbach and Storck Barracks are closed with some limited essential services.

All emergency services, the Commissioner, all Aafes institutions, childcare and youth services, the health clinic, fitness center, dining room (DFACS), post offices, shuttle service and the Dodea schools remain operated on during the normal hours. Normal gate lessons continue.

The shutdown should only have minimal effects on soldiers, employees and family PCS-in and the transition from and to Ansbach, although there may be some delays in waiting times.
