
A specialist In the UK, Green-Technology Building Solutions has welcomed the construction department for educational department (DFE) for 15 billion GBP construction frames 25 (CF25) for the inclusion of sustainability and innovation into the nationwide revision of educational buildings and infrastructures.
Keith Hills, founder of the Eco Green Group, said: “This new framework is a fantastic opportunity to recognize our schools from the start with inexpensive and sustainable eco-design.
“It is so important that children in the buildings where they spend so much time, experience environmentally friendly architecture and technologies. They see renewable energies, living walls and other sustainable characteristics of first -hand awareness of the next generation.”
£ 15 billion construction frame
The CF25 framework takes into account bids in several categories, including 5% weighted in order to weight the improvement and innovation and a further 10% against the social value for buildings. The frame underlines the government's promise to integrate sustainability and innovation into the educational infrastructure.
Keith added: “Greens Spaces and Urban Greening were consistently associated with an improved academic performance. It is therefore great to see that the DFE recognizes this in the bidding process.
“We have seen first -hand the effects of Green Technologies in schools in relation to economic savings and general well -being in classrooms.”
