After 545 entries from 155 photographers in 35 countries, the winners of this year's astrophotography price photographer of the year are officially here.
The photographer Ani Shaastri from the United States received the top award for Deep Field ink ink (OU4), a breathtaking picture of a fog that is about six times as large as the full moon. The jury consisted of 20 astrophotographers from eight countries: the United States, Great Britain, France, Germany, Thailand, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia.
The judges praised the victorious pictures for their art and precision. Alyssa Pagan from the Space Telescope Institute admired the frames and depth of the overall fog ink ink fishing nebel and compared it with a “tornado in the room”.

2025 Celestron winner winner

Deep space
Deep Space winner: The Southern Cross Flame. A nine panel RGB and hydrogen alpha mosaic of the constellation, which was recorded for several months with 81.5 hours of integration using a Zwo-Asi2600mm Pro and Stellarvue SVX80T-3SV refractor. When the strong man Mike Sidonio looked at this picture, he said: “Who knew that it was so much to see behind the southern cross. I stared at this picture for 30 minutes and was amazed at what was unveiled.” Image: Paul Milvain.
